One of my zebra danios has a curved spine. He/she eats well, swims normally, chases the other danios (and is chased in return), and exhibits no signs of TB besides the curved spine. How likely is it that the fish has TB given that it has only one symptom? :( -_- :/

I've had the fish for about 4 months, and it's had the curved spine for the entire time. Would it already be dead if the curvature was caused by TB? Any advice appreciated, especially from anyone who's experienced fish TB firsthand.

If it had TB it would show ulcers as well, sounds more like a birth defect and these are usually culled at a young age. Your danio wont know any diferent so wont be in any pain.

Thanks both of you. I checked out the link and read the "Symptoms" section of the page. Luckily, my fish has no symptoms of TB besides the crooked spine, and as it hasn't changed (gotton worse) as it would in a fish with TB, I don't think my danio is infected. Again, thanks a lot for the responses!
