Hi all not been on here for a bit, Had a few major developements in the tank. most are over in an all natural way (if you class phosphate remover natural) Had a nasty black slime explosion followed by hair algea then little white spots all over the tank, LR, Powerheads and skimmer. i took a small piece of LR to LFS and was told it was tube worms, Now what, are they good/bad, how will it impact my tanks balance?
Thanks

Is it these guys?

If so, they are indeed little worms. Completely harmless, in fact they help out a little being filter feeders. Don't worry about them impacting your "tank's balance". When on the glass, you can just scrape them right off, although they will more then likely re-appear again.

Or like this, I have hundreds in my tank and as Nemo says are harmless, and are excellent filter feeders :)
