trouble with my amazon sword

hi i bought an amazon sword about 2 days ago and when i try to plant it it just floats back to the top even when i cover it heavily with gravel.
so i was thinking should i buy a small terracotta pot and put it in with some gravel would that be ok

you can buy plant anchors at your LFS they look like little strips of lead ( don't think they are lead though ) you simple bend it around the base of the plant to hold it down until it roots...then remove the weights..

When I have a plant that wont stay, I anchor it down by placing a stone or large piece of rock on top of the roots. After a week the roots have taken hold and you can take the rock away.
