hi friends i have bought a rio 180 fish tank then i bought 6 gold fishes in it(2 large and 4 small) is there any problem if i put tropical fishes in it by setting the temp to 26degrees

IMO you shouldn't as it either slows down or speeds up (can't remmeber which) their matabalism but either way its definately not good for a gold fish to be in tropical temperature. I think they are also more proun to disease in warmer waters. so all in all i wouldn't

Yes, Gold fish are cold water fish, Tropical aren't and also you haven't cycled the tank so the Ammonia will probably kill them all...on top of that 180litres is pretty maxed out at 6 Goldifsh.

If we're talking common goldfish, two is too many... :( I agree on all counts.

Please remember that 'large' and 'small' goldfish doesn't mean anything - they all grow very big, very fast.

26c water will likely not contain enough oxygen to support goldfish.
