hey

basic question as my knowledge of plants is basic.

i currently have a anubias that from the bottom is about 14 inches tall. i was wondering about perhaps being able to cut the top 3 inches off and replant?
i really don't want to risk loosing the plant due to the rhizome rotting. also i don't know where the rhizome ends and the stem starts or if it all one thing.
anyone with some information about this would greatly recieved. also if this isn't a great idea, i was thinking about buying off ebay good idea? bad idea?

thanks

you can spilt the rhizone into pieces and make new plants that way, i have done it with a mother plant and left pieces as small as a couple of centimetres so long as you leave a leaf on each piece. They will quickle sprout new leaves and you will get loads of new plants from one.

Emma :)
