Hello, I just realised I' am treating my aquarium with the wrong medications for the last 5 days!!!
How soon can I swap to the proper medication before it is too late???

ty.

First of all I would remove the old medication with activated carbon (this should take around 24 hours) and carry out a partial water change.

okay I will place the carbon back in and do a 25% water change. Tomorrow I will start the new medications.

I was treating for collumnaris when they have Ich, my cardinal tetras are starting to get covered in salt looking spots on their tails and one of my black male mollies is breathing very heavy and stuggling at it :(

I hope he survives he is one of my fav!

The secret with Ich is that you have to catch it early to be successful with treating it. :)

yes I agree. Oddly my male mollie doesn't have any physical signs of it he is just breathing heavy.. but I guess that is part of it ?
