I have just treated my tank for ich with Mardel's Copper Safe. I went to their web site to try and get answers, but I couldn't. Well, my question is, I removed all the plants and my one ghost shrimp in my tank because the directions told me to. However, they never said when it would be safe to return them. It just says the treatment stays in the tank for a month. I have the shrimp in a tupperware container for the time being , because I have no idea where to leave him. The other problem is I have internal parasites as well, and the box says nothing about using a different treatment at the same time. Does anyone have experience with this sort of thing? If anyone can help, or put me in the right direction (web site or something) I would be greatful

I would return them after removing the medicine. To do this, you can do water changes (not to large, you don't want to stress your fish anymore), or you can add activated carbon to your filter, which you should have removed, i can't remember if you did this or not.

if your fish still not well simply just put the plants and shrimp to another aquarium and wait until fish recover and do 25-50% water change. then put back the carbon wait another 1-2 days and put those plants back. I dont use ur brand name for white spot. Sound its too tricky and a waste of time. Moving plants arround ain't healthy for them. In ur area does any other brand r sold beside this one cause this one seems to be for those tank that aren't planted.

Opss sorry but I my self have a pure plants tank so I could throw them their for a few weeks but for long run you should change to another brand for whtie spot as this one isn't very nice as ich happen offen moving those plants arround will drive u crazy beside it could hurt the plants.
