Hi,
I found a bumblebee goby trapped down the side of my filter box today. I have a juwel tank with one of those black plastic boxes. The eheim filter inlet is inside with the juwel heater clipped in too.
It is not glued to the glass but was so well wedged into the sand that I didn't think there was enough space to for a fish to get down there.
But a goby had obviously found a way to get down the side but unfortunately couldn't get out. It couldn't have been there more than a day.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have an idea as to what I can do to stop it happening again?
At the moment I have moved the box away from the glass a bit. I don't want to do this permanently though as it will be a nightmare to clean around it.
Should I just get rid of it?
Kev
P.S. The goby was dead!
