I wasn't sure if I should ask this here or in the algae section but I've just finished moving my plants to another tank. Some of these plants had the dreaded BBA on them, I tried removing the most of it by pruning but I've more than likely missed some. I'm considering a blackout and was wondering:
If the plants will survive this as well as the tank move? The last time I moved plants there was a lot of melting involved.
Will the lack of nutrients in the fresh tank help to rid me of BBA? I'm planning on dosing 24ml trace elements.
Will a blackout affect my cycle?
