so today my plants that i ordered came in the post

heres a list of what i got
vallisneria spiralis (25)
ratala rotundifolia (25)
hygrophillia difformis (10)
java fern (5)
crypt wendtii (5)
barclaya longifolia (1)
and a bunch of crypt balansae

i also brought myself a new piece of bog wood

unfortunately i dont have any pics of my tank before the re scape, but it was a bit bare, looks a lot better now (not blowing my own trumpet or anything lol)

heres a pic from the left side, i planted the vals around the side and across most of the back, you can also see the hygrophillia

heres a closer pic of my crypts, becktii at the bottom right and on the left wendtii and behind those crypt balansae and rotala in the background!

a pic of my barclaya longifoli orchid lilly, only tiny at the moment lol

and finally the java ferns that i tied to my wood, which you cant see all too well as its hidden in the darker side of the tank

so that is my tank up to date any comments appreciated, would like to know what you think

Looking good Kyle, whats your current lighting? I'm in the process of ordering a new lighting unit to attach to my hood for a higher watts per gallon and hopefully a better chance of success for my plants to survive. Surprisingly cheap and easy to do. Ebay job.

yea ebay it i only got 1 15W bulb running at the moment, i've ordered another daylight bulb as the other in my tank was a moonlight, but then again my plants still seem to be growing although my rotala seems to be slowly turning green because of the insufficient lighting, not a lot i can do though, im very limited with lighting because the hood on my tank is an awkward #40## thing, can only use some bulbs that screw in and are a certain size so im just gonna stick with 2 15W interpret day light bulbs

and my plants from here http/www.plantsalive.co.uk/
both great sites
im a bit more of an interent shopper when buying things for my tank, other than the fish, i get those from a store
