Tossed the Rock outta my ten gallon, and . . .

daza-- yeah, stuff's great. It's just a bit annoying as a foreground because it doesn't attach well to gravel, and it has no roots. -_- Plus it can swamp the tank once established-- if not pruned . . . See how thick the front is now? I actually took half an inch off the top to put moss on the wood to make that little hill and it still it is super thick in front. :X

On the other hand it's super easy to grow compaired to glosso, hair grass (which I'm also using in this tank, it's just overwhelmed a bit by the moss but it's growing well), or any of the other alternatives.

red plants are harder to grow. Not impossible though, I'm just not sure what to put in that wouldn't disturb th balance.

Puffer-- thanks but; maybe, but how should I tame it? I could thin the moss in front a bit . . . don't know where I'd put the extra stuff but . . . other than that, I actually want the other plants to grow MORE. :sly: The Micranthemum bush isn't really a bush yet, so I'm planning to propogate that plant more.

anyone think it's too green? I took out the wallichi so it now has no red plants. -_-
It's good like it is, never can have to much green. But if you were to add something, a small piece of driftwood would look really good.

I can't believe how great you made a 10gal look, great job!

Hey BryanG! Thanks for the comment bra! I live on Oahu too by the way. I went to your site and I like! Those pencil fish are beautiful, and your tank looks like it'll be really great once the plants have some time. Good lay out man.
