Top Or Mid Tank Fish

Need some suggestions please. I have just transferred my two Angels , into a larger tank, poor things they are sitting there looking stunned,any way the top two thirds of their old tank looks empty, so need 1 or 2 medium fish to fill the gap.
28 Gallon tank.
Fluval Duo deep 800.
Glowlights 5
Cardinal Tetras 8.
Corrys 2.
Otos 4.
Lots of ideas please.

You need a centerpiece fish...like a gourami or something.

Meg the Fish --Yes i like Gouramy, the Pearl one in particular.I am quite well stocked for the size of tank though, i will have about that one.
demonmagus--I love these, only seen them once though, perhaps they are hard to get. Definite maybe if i can find any. Thanks for those ideas both of you.

I'm looking for fish in this area too, although I dont mind a small shoal of fish (10" worth) that like the top end as well. Does anyone know where neon rainbows like to live?

Hi Fwapp, I have just been looking them up ,most of the articles said they were mid water ,i like them and might add some to my new tank.

Personally, id go with an African Butterfly all the way! (as demonmagus said)
not sure about comp thought...
get to 4"...
Nice fish, but i think they do very little, not too sure..
