Too Much Oxygen?

http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/cloudywt.htm This is a good site about cloudy water. It could be a baterial bloom from to much debris on the bottom of the tank, OR From a chemical imbalance in the water which would cause a white or greyish haze. So both you would min. the nutrients in the water by means of a water change and gravel vac. at 40%.

To much gravel in the bottom would cause this too. 1/4 is recommened for unplanted tanks.
http://www.nunnie.com/cloudy.html This is a good site also. :)
this is just a thought.

Have you been using any meds as that sometimes can send the water cloudy.

As for meds, I use dechlor, I think I over treat w/ Easy Balance, a bit of salt depending how much h2o I add back in from evap, and Stresszyme and or Coat. As for food, I usually drop in 2 algae disks, morning and night which I have recently cut back on, 6-7 small pieces of shrimp pellets also which I have cut back a little on, 3 slices of zuccini which are changed each day and a pinch and a half of flakes morning and night. I've cut back on some things knowing that I'm probably overfeeding. And if I haven't said it yet, thanks for all the good input that I've been getting. Royce

This isn't an answer to your question but... don't add salt when water has evapourated, salt doesn't evaporate so you'll be increasing the consentration each time.
