You shouldnt have to replace them. Every few months give them a soak in bleachy water.
Will be fine with a spray bar.

The 2217 has a hose size of 16/22 mm. So, too big for that atomizer. You could get a reducer though. You can afford the loss of flow

You can get the UP (or any other rebranded version of it) atomizer in 10/12, 12/16 and 16/22 versions so get the 16/22 one to fit the 2217 tubing.

The Boyu only comes in 12-16 but can fit larger hoses due to it's staggered input output. not ideal though.

If as above the outlet hose is 12 then yes that is the one you want 12ID/16OD

ive orderd the UP inline atomizer today. but delivery will take nearly 2 weeks(hong kong)
so ill continue with the glass diffuser for the time being

When it does come will you be able to comment on whether it produces a cloud of CO2 bubbles, these seem like a brilliant idea but I just don't like the look.. perhaps if it wasn't as bad as that video made out then.
