MY Guppie has given birth again!
another 20-30 fry. This is ontop of the 30 she gave birth to a month or so ago.
The problem is that even though I left them in the tank the other guppies don't eat them. In fact they completely ignore them. My tank is going to get too full real quick so I was thinking of adding something that will eat the fry but leave the grown/teenager fish in a survival of the fittest kind of way. I know, to some, this sounds cruel but its no less cruel letting them die due to an over cramped tank. I've managed to convince a friend to take some on but his tank is still cycling and my guppies are only going to get preggers again.
To get to the point can anyone think of a suitable lone (just a single fish) tank mate that will eat the less cunning fry yet will live happily with my current adult guppies and my tiger shrimp.
Stats:
60l ~ 13G tank
planted (inc. CO2)
too many guppies though mostly fry
10 adult guppies
5 tiger shrimp (can only ever spot 4 though)
too many snails
Cheers
