Hello

Just bought a Air Ventrui kit for my Juwel Rekord 120 to add some more oxygen to the water.

I have it on the LOWEST setting, but get lots of bubbles, is this a bad thing? i'm not sure if the fish like it.

Any views on this? or does anyone else use this kit?

Link is a video of the bubbles :D

I have my venturi on about 1/2. Ya gotta remember that unless you have an air pump unall its gotta be a reliable supply of air. The strength of the flow of the filter will drop as the filter becomes a little glogged before a clean and thus because the flow is less the pull of air into the tank will be less. So if the ammount of air is too slow when the filter is clean it will almost stop when the filter glogs a bit.

Not sure if I am getting across what I mean!

thanks for the replys :D

I will leave it in as it must be better to have Air than none at all :)

Am getting another one of these tanks next weekend so will probably get another Venturi kit for the other one.

Long as the fish are happy then so am i

I don't like the venturi's as you can't really control the air flow that well (as you know having looked at your vid!!) have you thought about getting a small air pump and stone. IMO they look much nicer and are far easier to control?
