Toadstool

I have a lovely Toadstool Leather about 5inches across in size and it opens beautifully apart from an area of about half inch sq. where the polyps wont extend so it looks like he has a baldspot any ideas why this is happening.
It was fully open when I purchased it.

Is it touching anything? did you handle this part when it ws in the tank? Softies do sulk alot when they are moved around. Give it time to get used to the tank and you wioll probably find it will open up fully.

i also have a large toadstool...

wheni first put it in..it took over a week to fully re-open,,,,,

and if it gets touched by accident when doing maintenance etc,,,
it shrinks right down,,,

they really dont like being touched,,


its been in tank now for around 2 months,,,and i have 2 more toadstools growing within an inch of the base of the bigger one now,,,
