There we go :) 13L Pets at Home 'My first fishtank' (£15), comes with nice little power filter, plastic canopy, very bright gravel (have hidden that ;P) stickers etc.

I also bought a pets at home led bar light (£12) and had a mini 25W heater spare, substrate is a mix of florabase complete and sand, with some washed rocks from the garden, and a couple of ceramic planting rings left over :)

Plants were bunches (2 for £4) from pets at home, don't know how they will do, but if they do terribly, I'll use plastic ;P

Going to let the girls pick inhabitant(s) from pets at home stock (hopefully a male fighter, or a couple of guppies).

And there we are, simple and fun, and done in 30 minutes!

Looks good.
I use the same for a quarantine/hospital tank.
Good little tanks to have around for emergencies.
We got ours from B & M for £9 but with a bubble filter, pump, plastic plant and fish food.
Any idea what your plant on the right is called? I have loads of it.

I'll be honest, not a clue! I just bought the two healthiest for the least money ;P

But I 'think' its water sprite...

The plant on the left is Hygrophila polysperma and on the right is indeed Ceratopteris thalictroides or Water Sprite

Great!!

I hope it does so well in this little tank ;P

One slight issue, the included filter has since developed an annoying hum (have checked for air etc, just a cheapo filter) Will be replacing with one of my usual HOB's asap...

But its such a cute little tank ;P

The mini-filter I had in my shrimp tank did the same. Having it in my bedroom was annoying! I should really get round to setting that little tank back up! Just need a bulb

Harlequins are lovely.... and are something I've never really kept....

I get the feeling the little LED bar probably isn't doing much, so will probably pick up yet another arcpod for it ;P

I like it. Very attractive little tank. :)

Wheres my Vallis?

I might be going down the route of Harlequins again, 4 of my Cardinals have kicked the bucket! Ever since posting on your thread about yours doing no good. Darn you!! lol

LOL! Don't blame me!! Your Vallis is now split between three tanks, but it's getting nailed in one of the tanks by a pair of rainbow cichlids... Going to remove it, grow it on then you can have what you want... along with an Ellioti... If you still want him! What am i getting in return though now you're keeping the Rasboras? :p

I am thinking of going to get one of these Nano's from P@H like yours in your original thread...Would the LED light be suitable for low tec setup with undemanding plants such as Java Fern, Java Moss and Anubias?

Thanks.

Urmmm. I might still get rid and buy 10 baby ones to grow ;). Just the distance that's a pain! But yes I do want Vallis and Ellioti ;)
