I have 3 white skirted tetras. One is a complete ***hole!

The smallest of the three can not come out of it's hiding place in the corner without being chased back (by being rammed in the side). Of course, the 2nd Tetra decides to help "the boss" pick on the little one.

What is up with these fish?

Okay, I am NOT going to flush, but just watching this is really sad. Are there any answers for this behavior?

well chase him around with ur net n let him know whose really the boss!!!!

or u can take him out the water for a few seconds hahahha

seriously get some more tetras...they will probly not pick on each other as much

school it out..

The more the merrier is your answer. A lot of tetra species i.e. Serpae. adopt this trait of either bullying their own or picking on the other tank mates. To illeviate or at least dimish this tendancy somewhat then you need to increase the shoal size. Ofcourse this depends on the size of tank. I have kept skirts on many occasions and a shoal of around 6-8 works fine.

Hmmm, sadly I only have a 5 gallon tank. Not enough room for more....Perhaps I could de-territorialize (is that a word - LOL) her/him. Little turd. :grr:
