To Dip Or Not To Dip

I have a community tank with 6 neon tetras, 2 zebra danios and 1 chinese algae eater. noe of my zebras has a swollen red abdomen with what appear to be some legions on the sides possible an exterior infection (they're white) i can't tell which it is. he was starting to show signs of his scales raising up the best I could figure it was some form of dropsy. I did a salt dip and he seems a little better. scales are not raised color is a little better. but the body is still swollen (although not as much) should I perform another salt dip or just watch and see in which direction his symptoms are headed? thanks

Sadly if he has a red belly area he has septicemia which is common on top of dropsy, its not looking to hopeful sorry.
