I've never seen a tank with the dimensions you describe, but 24*16*18 comes out to a 30g tank.

24*12*18 is actually around 22 gallons.

THIS SITE has even smaller dementions than my tank. Mine is a 20H (I think)with the dementions of 24*16*18. Am I wrong in guessing that my tank is a 20H or is the site wrong in his tanks is a 25 gallon with the dementions of 24*12*18?
a tank measuring 24" x 12" x 18"

= 3 cubic feet

= 22.5 US gallons

= 18.7 UK gallons

a tank measuring 24" x 16" x 18"

= 3.9 cubic feet

= 29 US gallons

= 24.3 UK gallons

Providing your measurements are right you have a standard 29 high tank.

hope this helps.

Negative. A standard 29g high is 30x12x18, same footprint as a 20g long. I would LOVE to find a tank with a 16x24" footprint.

It's a 20g high tank

To find the size in US gallons, you do

Width * Height * Length (in inches) * 0.0043 = US gallons
