I have a medium Light, and I am trying to figure out which plants to put in there, the plants are very expensive here?. i figured out crypts, anubias, moss ball algae, some random thing (weak stem plant thing that grows upright) , wild anacharis grow well\

what other ideas do you guys have?

one on the left, i tried ludwiga but it needs very high light and it died....

notes:
i have low ferts
hydroponically/aquaponically growing Gold Ribbon Plant

THANKS so much for all your guys' help!

You could try amazon sword or hornwort
hehe, i have both but the hornwort is slow growing idk why. (sorry i think sword got deleted) i have 2 of them and they exploded! makes a cool habitat for cories and stressed guppies.

Anubias and Java Fern is very low light. It’s grows slow, but it is pretty. (I have both Anubias barteri and Anubias barteri nana)

(Nana is left and regular is right and Java fern in in the middle)

Took them about a year in low light to get that big.

I agree that Anubias is nice! I have Anubias barter as well, it grows a new leaf every 3 weeks ish

My anubias nana is growing well but my java fern is still a baby

Java Fern takes a ton of time to grow. (I was incorrect above. It took my Java Fern 2 year to grow that big. The Anubias only took 1 year)

There are many plants that are slow growers and will do fine in medium light. Crypts, Java Fern, Java Moss, Dwarf Sag, Anubus, Amazon Sword, and likely others. Stem and floating plants grow faster - Water Wisteria, Water Sprite, Hornwort, frogbit, Anacharis, duckweed. pearlweed ... Floating plants do well as they are close to the light.

thanks, i have high flow at the moment. but as soon as i get a sponge/spray disperser for my filter, i will try Water Lettuce again. duckweed is actallly doing fine there. ludwiga is not doing well tho... only 1 left but it is starting back up. one of the big leaf stems grew closer to the light and is doing great, it tangled some anacharis with it so the anacharis is happy too i think

I find that my plants do best with modest ferts as if I withhold any ferts, after a couple of weeks, they begin to fail some. I've had good luck with Seachem Flourish Conprehensive and right now I'm experimenting with Select Aquatics' Rapid Grow (I was attached to the Rapid Grow because it's a powder you mix with water and there's a huge cost advantage over the liquid ferts...and who likes paying for water). :)
