Tilapia Butterkoferii

Anybody keep any? Whats your thoughts on them and do you keep them with other fish?

surprising that nobody answered this post yet. but while I don't have this particular fish in my collection yet.

heres what I know of them.

they are monsters. they get big are highly territorial and have been listed on the millions upon millions of " whats the most agressive cichlid" posts out there. I think that like most of their big new world cousins they stay fairly non aggressive till they hit a sub adult stage in their life where they become the monster that we all know and love.
