tiger barbs

The tak is a 55 gallon in my sig. the bettas arent in there. The blue and yellow guppy fry arent in there. Im going to be getting rid of the black and regular neon tetras so those wont be in there. and the harlequin rasboras might not. The convict arent in there.
Could i put 8 tiger barbs in there? Im getting a 29 gallon with everything including 8 tiger barbs. I want to put them in my community because im going to stick the convicts in the 29 gallon.
Can i maybe put 8 of them in a ten gallon?

Might be over doing it. TB's are amazing fish, you could probably put them with the convicts unless u breed convicts

do you mean you want to put your 8 barbs in a 10 gal? or am i just reading you wrong?? 10 gal is too small for 8 tigers they need space to swim swim swim!!!

Tetras will get harrased like crazy...especially in a small tank.

I think 8 tigers and some Cory's in a 10 is a bit much. They do like their swimming space.

You can keep Tigers with faster swimming tetras. The more Tigers you have, the more they keep their frantic chasing to themselves.

Any slow swimming, or long finned fish will have a miserable time with them.

we have 6 cardinals + 10 neon tetras in with our barbs but our tank is a 4 ft, 44 us gal one & we have 6 barbs. they never bother their little blue friends but they have room to move .
