Tiger Barbs And Red Eye Tetras

It seems they should get along all right, but would like opinions from anyone who could tell me for sure. 14 Tiger barbs and 6 tetras.

For which tank? I can't see any problems personally... The Tigers are in a large enough group to be more bothered about what all the others are doing than any other kind of fish!

Welp, they're in with the tigers, and after about a minute of sniffing each other and the barbs trying to do a little tail nipping, I tossed in some food and they promptly forgot about each other. Now they're swimming together like it's always been that way. Whew!

I've got some moss barbs in with my red eye tetras and they don't bother each other I was told moss barbs are the same. as tiger barbs they get on so well that the red eyes sometimes shoals together with them

My Tigers don't bother any of their tankmates, including Serpae Tetras with their tempting black mohawks! Internet claims Tigers are compatible with most Tetras as long as the Tigers are in a big enough group, which yours are.

As I've said, the first batch of tigers I had in with my community tank and they were wonderful and got along with everyone. I wish that was the case with these, but as it turns out, I've now got a very interesting tank with 14 tigers and 6 red eye tetras who all get along great! They're actually shoaling together as I type this. And, my cory tank is much calmer now. I'm starting to wonder how many more fry I would have if I'd made the move with the red eye tetras sooner.

I thought at one time of putting all the tetras in one tank (red eye, serpae, von Rio, longfin black skirt, colored skirt and silver tip) but I thinnk I'd worry most about the red eyes getting after the silver tips, which I'd like to get more of (because I think they're really pretty) but I'll just have to sit back and think about that.
