hi i brought tiger barb the other day and i died the next do you knoe why? i saw it swimming round not very actove at all so i am dissapointed and i will not buy none again.

was it just the one? they like to in groups? might be just a bad fish?

They're actually great fish. I didn't like them at first since we had one for ages that didn't play nice with any other fish, so he was hogging an entire tank. I "got even" with him by filling the tank with 9 more tiger barbs. What fun! We named our original one "Brian" because he now has 9 faithful followers whether he likes it or not.


They're very active, pretty, and make for a fun tank. Did you cycle your tank? Did you get your fish from a chain store? Get a test kit and check your water conditions.
