Tiger Barb And Red String

Hi one of my tiger barbs has like a red bit of string coming out of it, what is it and do i need to do anything about it?

Do you mean a red string coming out of the anus, if so does it look like a worm as that means camallanous worms.

yes it was coming out the anus and it did look like a worm, what does this mean and do i need to treat it?

thank you for your help. I only got this fish yesterday from lfs, should i take it back?

No the other fish could be infected and need to treat the whole tank anyway.
Plus the lfs won't treat the fish they will probably just destroy it.
I would let the lfs no though doubt if they will do anyhing, but better than saying nothing.
