Hi welcome to the forum! Plenty of us Hull folk on this forum ;) Where do you go for your fish? How bigs the tank, youve got a few fish in there that can get to a foot long hope its a big one :)

Its a 100 ltr hexagon one, it came with the 3 sharks and the albino pleco, the red tail shark and the pleco are about 5inches big at 7 years old. the two silvers are only small. I am hoping to upgrade to a bigger tank as I know they need the room but for the time being they seem happy enough. I got my other fish from pets at home. I did check out Beverley garden centre yesterday though, they have a lot of nice fish! just need a bigger tank now!

To be fair those fish are pretty big for that size tank, your mollies and neons are okay but the common plecs and bala sharks need much much bigger tanks and the red tailed shark needs a bigger tank. I mean 2 5 inch fish in a 100 liter tank must obv show you that they need a bigger tank? The Bala sharks will grow to a foot and are really active and so need a massive tank the plecs will be polluting your tank heavily with lots of poop. Do you have a test kit?

The Maidenhead aquatics is IMO the best in town, little over priced but the guys know what they are talking about. Both of the Pets at home in hull are rubbish the one on stoneferry road marginally better than st andrew quay but compared to maidenhead its not worth your money. An other good one is Frisbys a few different species pop in there from time to time and they get some good second hand tanks in if your looking to upgrade at some point :) They are on Sculcoates Lane off Bev road. Ings lane is good as well which is near beverley garden center but dont go to the discount place terrible shop, an other near there is northfield pets and gardens, they are not bad but never bought fish from them I dont know why but I dont trust them but they do do good cheap dry goods and good value new tanks and filters.

yeah i know the shark is too big, we rescued him from someone who had him in a smaller tank He is very old and seems quite content where he is for now. theyre not in there forever just till i can get hold of a bigger tank. as for the silver sharks they are only babies and i will have a bigger tank before they grow up. Yeah I have used frisby's too used to live accross the road from it. Only had my tank about 2 months though but the fish that came with it are about 7 years old.
