the plants are a mixture of real and plastic, i have a few odd bits of java fern and crypto's -i think theyre called? and the rest are fake as i never got aroung to shopping for more,but i actually think they look quite good mixed together

Keep an eye on your Chinese algae eater too (as nice as he is) .
In every case I've known someone to keep one with angels, the angels ended up suffering and most of the time die .

i have 2 of them,which ive had for about a yr with my angels, and i have never noticed a problem with them..i have heard that though.
i didnt kno what my pictus was when i got it,didnt know it was best to keep a few of them,but he is ever so friendly,not shy at all, and hes mates with my featherfin, they hang out together under the bogwood!
