Thought I'd say "Hey"

Hey, this is Kevin, known in the online world as JimShorts.

I'm new here in the FishForums.net community (obviously), and thought I'd say "Hey" and introduce myself. I'm a high school senior from Washington State. I currently reside in my parent's rural home with my roommate Turbo.

Turbo is a silver and red betta I've had since August 2004. He lives in a 2 1/2 gallon bowl on top of my dresser. My mom also has an un-named betta that we keep in the living room.

Since getting Turbo, I've gotten more and more interested in keeping fish, and am currently looking into getting a larger tank and aquiring some additional finned friends. So, I'm here to learn more about the little taking care the the little guys.

How big of a tank are you looking at here? A 10G? 20G? 29G are popular too.......

If youi think since your a newbie, you have to start small, you dont. That is complete rubbish. (I'm not english, but I like saying "rubbish." It makes me feel english...)
