Thought I Would Introduce Myself

My name is Nicola, I am 23 and have just moved in with my partner after spending the past year in a long distance relationship (after returning home from university where I met him). I have a degree in education and IT however am hoping to return in september to gain my honours (Im part time).

I have a small tank (Rena Aquacube) which has dimensions of 35.5x39.5x44cm and holds 43 litres of water (approx 10 gallons). Bought the tank and started a fishless cycle last friday so i am hoping when i get my water tested on saturday it will be fine to think about adding my fish.

It contains 3 plants, 1 which i think is a vallisneria (looks like long grass), i was told another is an oxygen plant and im not sure about the third one.

I have a heater, air filter and under gravel air tubes, 1 of which is in a bubbling ornament and the other is just sticking out of the gravel for time being as i am unable to get the other bubbling ornament i would like.
