Thninking Of Getting Some Snakeheads

Seriously mate, dont let it get to you, happens to the best of us, ive lost a few due to negligence, usually forgetting to shut lid after a clean out,

Cheers mate, I know its just one of those things but i keep kicking myself for not being more thorough. On the plus side the other 5 are doing good.

One thing i would like to ask is that one the day i got them after a few hours of putting them in thier tank i noticed one kind of showing off to another its was wiggling and the other looked kind of intersted.

I thought this might be a future pair. Or is this normal kind of behaviour ?

Dominance or pairing off, could be either, these seem to act much like cichlids, if you see them head to tail, shimmying, all could be good, also if they wrap into a ball near the surface and drop to the bottom repeated, you could well be onto a winner,

Thanks again nelly. Just one final question. Ive got an idea of what their set up should be like but what would you recommend ?

Well mine was crammed full of plastic plants and rocks made for hiding places, had around 10 places to hide...if not more, if you can do live plants then go for it, cram tank full of live,if not what i did was have some plastics normal in the tank, then i got a load, stripped of the base and threw em in...lol...

This link my tanks the first one on the thread, most channa require similar style layout, just i was never any good with live..

Thanks ever so much Nelly. Thats pretty much like my set up except i dont have as many plants in but i do have some spare so they'l be going in, in the next day or two.
