We set up our free Blagdon affinity pillar pond (prize from pfk competition). I am guessing it's the bi-orb of the pond world, looks very pretty but not hella practical! I was after a water feature for marginal plants (I was about to DIY one and had already bought an oak barrel when I won but this is much nicer) but it seemed a little dull without fish so we have three small goldfish who will be moving to my parent's pond when they get bigger. The pond is about 200l but taller than wide so I would hesitate to add more than that. Hopefully they'll be happy in their new home, although thinking they may need to live indoors when it gets icy outside. We shall see.
Husband has also set up what will be the shrimp tank in the kitchen. It's a 20l arc tank and he's scaped it all, looking really good...now just waiting to get hold of the cherries to go in!
With that and three big water changes it's been a very busy very fishy weekend!
