#2- Good lord almighty is that a gastromyzon? i have never never never seen one with that brilliant coloring. if i ever saw one like that in a shop it would be in my tank in a heartbeat

nice pic however I have a concern
We had some Hillstream loachesgastromyzon Sp. in a tank at work with goldfish (ryukins)
and they started to do what yours is doing.
I noticed a few days later that the goldfish had started to develope red spots.
The HSL were sucking on their slime coat.

my concern is that yours will do the same.

Yes. That is Gastromyzon ctenocephalus.

Gastromyzon was there only a sec as usually and I don't have any fish with a slime coat like goldfish do have. I also think that bristllenose is fully cabable of protect herself. But good to know that gastromyzons can do that. Most fishes with sucking mouth will do that to goldfish.

Even if the one is sucking the slime off of the other, it's still a neat picture.
