This Setup Ok For A Betta?

I have a 5 USG aquarium. I had a dwarf gourami along with 7-8 Galaxy Rasboras/Celestial Pearl Danios. The gourami recently died and I'm looking for another "main" fish for the tank. Would a betta do ok with the Galaxy Rasboras? Male or female? A few years ago I had a female betta with 4 cherry barbs in that tank, and that worked out ok.

i think you would have more look with a female unless you can find a laid back male

I have a male betta with 3 male endlers (same size as galaxies) and 3 galaxies (one male 2 female) and have no problem! But like stated, look for a laid back betta!
