This Set Up Sound Good?

ive been researching all kinds of fish for about a year now whilst trying to find the perfect tank for it all, so i thought i would see what you guys think im think an almost all south american tank, apart from a couple of misfits :L so there will be lots of bogwood, black sand(maybe light sand but i though black would be better for the fish) some amazon swords, harigrass, java ferns, anubias maybe some vallis, not sure any ideas on plants would be helpfull oh and btw its gonna be between 250-300 litres
fish; pair angelfish, one gold one blue
pair of german blue rams
10 cardinals
8 harlequin rasboras
6 black neon tetras
3 adolfoi cory, 3 green laser cory(or 6 adolfoi)
pair of pearl gouramis
1 starlight bristlenose pleco, L182
5 silver hatchets 3 marble hatchets
6 head and tail light tetras

its hard to think of all the fish in one place but do you think all those colorus would be ok together? and there wont be any fin nipping or anything will there?

oh forgot to say, i think im gonna put a few moss balls in and a corner part with black pebbles(with the light sand) and a cave.
also has anyone got emerald corys? ive only seen them once i was thinking about them instead of the adolfois? or other suggestions on corys?

Sounds pretty good; a couple of small points...

Personally, I'd keep to groups of all the same species; so 6 of only one species of cory, all marbled or silver hatchets and only one tetra; the fish actually look better, act more naturally and are 'happier' (as far as we are able to judge) in larger shoals; don't forget that these fish live in shoals of hundreds or even thousands in the wild.

I'd leave out the harlequins and the gouramis as they are Asian fish and don't really 'fit' (although I've got Asian glass cats in my SA tank ).

It's very hard to get two angels to live together, unless you buy an already mated pair, or you start off with six or eight juveniles and let them pair up naturally.

This is what I've got im my tank to give you some idea;
220l tank, with external filter and 50% weekly water changes;
42 false neons
18 marbled hatchets
1 royal whiptail
1 ram
pair of bristlenose
9 glass catfish

Get the Adolfoi coties; they're my fave; I have 7 (in another tank with my angel) and they're gorgeous fish

ok thank you i think ill go with more cardinals, and i was thinking about buying 3 young gold and 3 young blue and hoping 2 pair up, if they dont then just 2 golds

if i were to take out the pearl gouramis and harlequins, does anyone have suggestions on south american fish i could look into?

wait what if i was to chage it around and put in 5 discus, or maybe just a pair but i heard you shouldnt do that? along with a pair of angels, pair of blue rams, shoal of cardinals, shoal of corys, shoal of black neons, BN pleco and some marbled hatchets? could i still put in the pair of pearl gouramis aswell, my mum really loves them so just estimating what size of tank for those? 70 gal or more? and if they will even live together nicely?
