That is absolutely terrible. I'm not one to comment or flag a lot on Youtube, and I kinda hate to have flagged twice in one week, but this has got to go.

In answer to Tolak, I came across the sunfish video just by searching for "betta fish" to see if a video I had just uploaded came up in the search results. There were maybe 4 or 5 results for that day and the sunfish video was one of them. I wasn't looking for it.

i was searching for arowana and found a vid of some1 feeding a live BABY DUCKLING to it and i flagged right away!!

I've come across some horrible video's as well, including betta's. Simply because of the word Betta in it. Just like typing in dog or cat, you'll get many great video's, but you'll come across some seriously horrible ones as well.

Poor fish.

I would say a hefty 30%

I think the big reasons are because:
1. People automatically assume that since they're called siamese FIGHTING fish that they were meant to be treated as... well fighting fish. Like when people do cock fighting, or use pitbulls for fighting.
2. Just because they're a fish.. A lot of people think they're worthless.
and 3. Out of sheer ignorance.

I've come across quite a lot too.

I've seen entirely too many "fighting" videos, of idiots sticking two males in a small container, and watch them fight to the death.
