Any comments most welcome be they good or bad. Thanks for looking :good:

So, you want my honest opinion.... :shifty:
I would say, get rid of the plastic plants and put some real ones in there. Canabis is not an aquarium plant ;)
Other than that: your tank is looking great!

   canabis plant    no it's not canabis, forgot what it's called have a real plant like that. I am no good with plants need plastic ones at the min maybe next project real plants.

The layout is nice and clean, but a little spare. If you have to go with plastic plants (and I understand why you would want to, even though I wouldn't) then you've done well with it. I really like your PseudoGanja there. If you put some smaller, foreground plant's that might look nice, and maybe a mid-sized red leafed plant near the back to the left. Cute algae ball :good: .

How much do you sell it for and do you grind it first?

dude the pot plant is hilarious.. you need like a lil tiki man with a pipe that shoots bubbles.. YEAH.. but anyways, it looks pretty nice, but fake plants just make a tank look a little cheap.. the substrate is beautiful, as are the fish. only real set back are the fake plants, get some real ones and it'll be pretty nice

Thanks guys for your opinions, I will in the future like to try real plants but fake ones for me at the minute :) Trying to learn lots about the fish let alone having to worry about plants too  I love the look of the tanks on here with plants it is so more natural I agree :good:

Nice tank man. If you are new to tanks then I reckon wait a bit for real plants, if not I bet real plants would look nice in there.

Is that a horseface loach? I had one for about 3 months but he died. I read one man he had about 5 but could never make them last more than 3 weeks -_- . I laughed to myself when I read it becauase I couldn't work out why, then the next day my one died :-( . Even when I do a water change weekly

Keep us informed on how it goes

I think it's a very nice looking tank it's clean simple but not to bland although of course it will be nicer once real plants are put in it's nice now anyways

and im very jealous of your Horse faced loaches

looks really good. I really like the nice simple clean layout, and ythe colours on your fish are beautiful. Your doing a great job keep it up! :good:

I'd have to second the comments about the fake plants though, if you don't want to get real one's how about upgrading to good quality silk plants, little more expensive than the plastic ones but they look a lot better. :)

Thanks again  I am very new yes this is my first tank. Yes thats a horseface loach the bigger one pictured also there is a much smaller one in there. I love watching them turn the sand over they do a great job :good: in the mornings the sand looks like it has been used as a race track. I will also look out for the silk plants :)

I've got a few silk plants you can have for £1 if you send me a SAE (Stamped addressed envelope) with £1 in it. I bought them for about £3.99 but I don't use them anymore. There's about 3 different ones I think, and for an extra £0.50p i'll chuck in some little fern like plants aswell.

Thanks Neal I sent you a PM :good:

Lovely tank and fish :good:

Though personally (seeing that you asked ;) )I'd rip out the plastic plants and stick in some lovely large Amazon Swords (with some root tablets as they are heavy root feeders) and perhaps some vallis too.
