the stones are resin bought from local fish shop at 25 pounds each they are both the same but set differently as for the fish its a bit of a mishmash but ive got 1 sailfin pleco 5" 1 clown loach 4" 2 convicts 2" 3 corys (not sure which verity) 2 albino tiger barbs 1" 1 red marble oscar 1 rainbow spendida 3" 3 firemouths 3" 2 x 1" golden sucking loach 1" looking to add a few more over the coming weeks but not sure what yet
sorry forgot to answer the whole question . yes the convicts hide inside the sailfin hides its head inside the smaller fish swim through it . the tank has an ehim external filter rather than use up space internally. i only recently upgraded from a rio 125. used most of the water from that tank to make this one i used the external filter in the old tank for for a couple of weeks so i wouldnt have to cycle the new tank . still need some more plants though
Very nice tank but hate to say it but you will be needing to upgrade again in 6 months time, as that oscar will be a good 7-8 inches by then and will still have a good amount of growing still to do. The barbs, corys, rainbow and loach will quickly be eaten as it grows
Agree with the above post. Too many fish that are going to get too big.
And, just so you know, remove the cories sooner then later, because they have a barb that could get stuck in the Oscars mouth, which would require surgery to remove!
thanks for the imput people and have already agreed with my fish man to return it as and when but he looked just so good i thought id have him even if only for a while
