I think i know why my corys haven't spawned. I just checked on my fish and my female appears to have what looks like columnaris near her tail. She has a white fluffy patch near her tail base on her back. Also her fins appear to have shortened.
Her tail used to have a really long extension on the bottom and now that has gone and where it was has gone dark brown to black in colour. I need help!
Should i treat the tank with myxazin? This treats fungus and other diseases like pop eye and stuff like that. I'm in the UK and i think i have provided as much info as i can atm because i only just noticed this patch. I think she has had it a while though because, i thought i saw a tiny white fluffy patch on her just after they stopped spawning but when i looked again it looked like it had gone so i thought it was just me seeing things, looks like i could have been wrong.
HELP!!!!! Please! I AM BEGGING ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME!
I really love my corys and i don't want them to die!

quarentine the ill fish, put it in the hospital tank. huge water change. post your water stats etc of the main tank using the form in the pinned bit of the emergency section. someone will get back to you soon enough.

I can't quarantine the fish. My hospital tank has no heater atm because i am waiting for it to be delivered. It has a cycled filter but the temp is at about 15 degrees in the hospital tank.
The main tank stats are:
Ammonia-0ppm
Nitrite-0ppm
Nitrate-10-20
PH-6.4

What test kit are you using.

With fry you can only half dose myxazin and pimafix for columnaris.

Columnaris can also look a fluffy brown colour.

I only have 3 fry in the main tank with the adult guppies and corys, these fry are about 2 month old nearly.
I have changed my writing to this is it any better? I'm using an API freshwater kit (liquid).

I bought some protozin by waterlife today.
It treats:
-Neon tetra disease.
-Oodinium(velvet)
-White spot(ich)
-fungus
-Costiasis
-Trichodiniasis
Anyone know what the last 2 are? I've never heard of them.

It said add 2.5ml for 8 gallons so i added 3 ml because my tank is 12 gallons,
use on days 1,2,3 and 6 but miss out 4, 5 and 7.I have put my MTS in a bucket while i treat because i can't treat with them in the tank.
Unfortunately it turns my tank greeny blue in colouration.

Second day of treatment and they all seem to be better than they were already!

That's good news.
Keep the thread updated if you don't mind.
Good Luck.
