Thinking Of Selling

hello

recently i have been thinking of selling my fish tank. not sure where or how much though.

tank is 1 year old fluval vicenza 260
filter fluval 305, came with tank
stand came with tank

Occupants:

3 pieces of wood
variety of plants and medium sized fake moss balls
BN catfish
11 neons
1 pearl gourami
8 cherry shrimp
8 flame tetras
7 pristella tetra
8 lemon tetra
6 harlquin rasboras

just enquiring for now

most people prefer to buy tanks that dont have fish etc still in it so it might be an idea to rehome them or try selling them on first. a cycled filter is always a bonus especially if your just starting keeping fish as it saves all the hassle of doing the cycle but unless people really want these types of fish they are going to be stuck with them for a while which can put people off.....

Where are you located StonedCamel? It sounds to me like another opportunity for me to obtain a tank and stock at a small price compared to its real value. To paraphrase that, don't give up on getting a reasonable price for your equipment and fish if you truly want to leave the hobby. I wish that all people who want to get out of the hobby lived right next door to me. In many cases they are willing to part with their equipment at a price that I would ind very attractive. On the other hand I would like to encourage you to at least consider retaining the tank and other hardware. I have had my own equipment for much longer than I have had my present setup. The essence of my hobby experience is that I have had periods of enthusiasm and other periods where I was willing to give it all away. By storing my equipment between periods of enthusiasm, I have saved myself hundreds, perhaps thousands, of dollars by not having to buy the same equipment multiple times.

lked the girlfriend about it and she says its up to me so im just have a good think about it and what to do, not an easy decision
