I have a brackish puffer tank and wanted to add some plants. Any suggestions as to what are the healthiest brackish water plants?

All I have for gravel is regular sand. I will not be relayering my tank, so will plants do well with 2 watts of lighting, regular sand (will put in plant food tabs/sticks).

Do I need any CO2? I had read that using 2 watts or less with most plants, that you may not need CO2. I personally am not interesting in hooking up some CO2 thing and will go without plants if they NEED CO2. All I want to do it provide adequate lighting, filtration, and food/fertilizer for my plants. If I cannot have healthy plants this way, then I am not interested in having them at this point.

I am also confused if fertilizer tablets and food sticks/tabs are the same thing? Are they or do you need both??? Thanks.

a planted tank need lots more care.

but you do get plants like java fern that will do well in less than 2wpg there are a lot of plants that will grow just the way your tank is now.. the more you care for the plant the less you'll need to get them growing.. well to a point that is..

I have a tank nicely planted with some fish.. not the other way around.
