Thinking Of Gettin Some Bala Shark Questions.

hi all,

I was thinking about getting some bala shark fro my 180 liter tank which currently has 6 x peppered cory's, 6 x zebra danio's, 4 x leopard danios, Will also be planning on adding some gourami's.

Does this sound o.k., i will be getting the sharks as youngens.

these fish grow to be 16'', so i wouldn't get them, they also need to be in shoals.

hi, your tank is too small for bala sharks. they grow to over 12" long, and must be kept in groups. the minimum tank size for a group would be 5 foot. even if you get them small, you would have to get rid of them quite soon, as if you kept them they would become stunted.
