I am think about getting a trio of female fancy guppies for my 5 gallon. How do I tell females from male guppies?

The above image is a female, look right behind that gravid spot, where her anal fin is. It is a triangle shape.

The below image is a Male Guppy. He has an anal fin that is pointed, instead of like a triangle.

Females are normally much more plain looking, but there are simpler males out there. It still shouldn't be difficult to tell.

the males have really vibrant colors most of the time and are usually smaller and skinnier then the females, at least mine where.
