i didnt think they were available here, but i found a shop that stocks them.
does anyone have any advice on temperment and stocking?

i'm still trying to figure out what stocking i'm going with
would they work with adult bolivian rams? blue acara? or firemouth?

I was looking into them. They are a more peacful cichlid like the blue acara. They are mid size getting to be 5" or so. I don't think it is a good idea to mix small cichlids with larger ones. I have a bad expriance with a blue acara that killed a ram but that's just me.

I think they would be fine with the blue acara and maybe a calm firemouth. I know some FM can be mean and others can be a bit less aggressive. It depends on the fish. Maybe someone with personal expriance can help you out more. They are very pretty fish.

so far i've been lucky with my fish not being aggressive. so hopefully that continues, yeah i might overlook the firemouth then. the rams have lived with the acara nearly twice their size for a long time now

Good then you have some tough rams. My little one was a wimp and my Male acara was a big time bully. Not all are like that i know. my other male I have now is much calmer and nice. I would go for the T-bars if you can find them.

Sajica are really nice and are generally quite peaceful for a central American cichlid. I think it will go well with your proposed stocking. Also consider cutteri too, I have a breeding pair and they are gorgeous.
