Thinking About Taking Silver Sharks Back To Store

So the store sold me some silver sharks along with a few others such as platys and shrimps, I'm considering taking the sharks back as they were misold and said to be safe with all the other fish. All I'm seeing on the internet is negative things about silver sharks with other fish... What should I do?

Return them, they grow way too big for most home aquariums

Yes, these grow pretty big, 30 to 35 cm /  11 to 14".
 
Also as they grow older they do get more aggressive and may go for smaller fish.

So I'd also recommend rehoming these guys.

Ouch, they get massive! I'll head to the pet store tomorrow with the little guys, it'll be sad to see them go, they seem so happy in my tank..

they are a cute and interesting fish---too bad they outgrow the average sized tank----I had 2 of them many years ago in my 35 gallon hex and they both jumped out the tank thinking there was more room outside the tank

Usually they do fine with peaceful fish, but only if they grow up with the fish. Minimum tank size for Bala Sharks (silver sharks) are 200 US. gallons.
