well first ive been reading that a reactor can give 100% co2 without the bubbles...is this true?
is it better than a glass diffuser?
if so do you have any links for a good one?
if i can get even more co2 dissolved thats something id be interested in.
is it true that a glass diffuser lets a lot of the co2 escape?
thanks...

ummm actually it all depends

the krib co2 page

here is a link to the krib description on co2

im guessing the second one is the one you are referring to as a reactor. Yes reactors does not let too much co2 bubbles escape and float to the surface, but it is unsightly if inside the tank. Inline reactors are different however.

Ceramic diffusers produce millions of tiiiinnyyy bubles that slowly float to surface, if positioned properly it might work as good as a powered reactor :) and there are theories today i think that say that the tiny bubbles suspended in the water column circulating in the tank is actually good for the plants ? something like that... and ceramic glass diffusers look suupeer cool

I haven’t got a CO2 system yet but when I do I’m thinking of using an Aquamedic CO2 Reactor Type 1000 (found here about half way down). This can be put inline with my external filter and heaters so I can keep my tank nice and clear. Looks a bit over kill but it will be hidden behind my tank. I'm still looking into this whole CO2 thing but that’s my views any way.

It's a large reactor and don't forgot it's designed for tanks up to 2000L!!

okay so would it be just as good to put my glassdiffuser right below my powerhead and let the powerhead chop up the co2 even more before shooting it through the tank?..
