So, after various set up issues and bad advice ( not on this forum I must add !) and stocking and compatibilty issues, I *think* I have finally reached a point where my fishies are happy, I have a 200litre tank with the following inhabitants:

3 green tiger barbs
3 stripy tiger barbs
4 albino tiger barbs
2 blackmollies
2 dalmation mollies
2 orange mollies
2 rainbow fish
3 clown loaches

Any comments welcomed as to this combo, it all seems to be running nicely (returned my 2 gouramis to the shop as barbs were harassing them, on advice from here, thanks )

I'd sacrifice quantities for variety.... I mean there's so much potential with a 200l that it seems a waste to use it on only 4 different species.... (green/stripy/albino....it's 1 species.... Black/Dalmation/orange ...They're one species)... Put 2 x congos in there as well.

From a stocking stand point, you seem to be fine although 3 clowns will eventually get pretty large for a 50 gallon but that will take a while. Mollies also prefer brackish water but can be kept in FW. As for the suggestion of 2 congos, tetras prefer to be kept in groups and so you should havve at least 3 (the rainbows also need a larger group).
