I'll have to go there at night and take some pictures with the room lights off, don't know when i'll get a chance to do that though. I tried to get some closeups the day I took these, but there is just too much glare.

I just have 3 40watt flourecent lamps, not sure what kind, nothing special, I think there warm white.
The 10 and 20 gallons have the standard grow bulbs that come with the hoods. The 20 actually came with the same lamp as the 10, I figured it wouldn't be enough but the plants in there are doing better than all the other tanks.

I don't know, I just spray painted the back and sides with a flat black. I usually have the same problem, in fact the 55 is usually that way but lately it's been very black, seems to have gotten better after I got the chinese algea eaters. Maybe it's just a matter of getting the very fine particals of algea off, just a guess.
