Thin Ram

I moved my German Blue Ram from my 55gal tank to my 15gal quarantine tank, because he was getting thin. I thought it was just because the big rainbows and rummys where gobbling down all the food first. I was planning to put him in my 20gal planted after he had gained some weight. It has been about a month now and he still looks thin . He is about 2 years old and looks and acts the same he always has. I have been feeding him regular flake food and bloodworms. I have been feeding him extra and he eats everything I give him. The only other fish in the tank is a female swordtail, who has been in there for a couple months; nothing is wrong with her. There are no problems with the water stats. Below is a pic of him, any idea what is wrong?

Being thin can be fish tb to internal parasites, what does it look like when he goes to the toilet.
Long stringy white poo.
Is the anus enlarged or red and inflamed.

His poo looks normal. It is hard to tell with him being skinny, but I'm pretty sure the anus is protruding and it might be enlarged.

I would get worming the whole tank then with an internal parasite med.

Thanks Wilder, I picked got some anti-parasite medicated food by jungel. I have been feeding them for two days and I already see a improvement , the bottle says it will take 4 weeks to get rid of completely though. Which leads me to my next question, I moved him from my 55gal, which has a strong current and is located in a daycare , to my 15gal, which has a very mild current and is in my closet . Every time I check on him he is swimming into the glass toward the closet door and the swordtail is watching him with a "It's not going to work look" look. Can he hurt himself at all by swimming into the glass all the time?

No it cant possibly hurt him. Fish aren't made of tissue and flesh they are made of cardboard plasticine!
